Custom UV Shade Cloth Tarp Cover - 11oz Vinyl Coated Mesh 55% Solid

Shade cloth is a type of tarp used to block a percentage of the sun's UV rays to provide protection for the soil, plants, animals, people, or equipment underneath. Shade tarps are used for agricultural, industrial, and residential purposes. Shade cloths can be draped over structures like a greenhouse, mounted to the top of something like a pergola, be suspended between a tube frame, or simply staked to the ground for weed or frost control.

All shade cloths from Lookout Mountain Tarp are custom built to match the specifications of your order. Regardless of the fabric type selected, the tarp will feature a 2-ply hem that is reinforced using 2" wide heavy duty polypro webbing sometimes referred to as tape. This webbing is attached using two rows of our black 277 polyester bonded thread which features a 44 lbs breaking strength that is nearly double the industry standard. In the corners, as well as about every 24" around the hem, #2 brass locking spur grommets will be machine punched through the hem to provide extra strength.

This 11 ounce vinyl coated polyester open mesh is our most popular shade cloth fabric for greenhouses. The 55% shade rating is ideal for keeping plants healthy throughout their growth cycle without restricting water or air flow. This fabric comes on a 72" roll that will be assembled using heat sealed seams and is available in black, blue, green, and red. It features the highest abrasion rating with an excellent tear strength which together make this fabric our most durable shade cloth tarp.
